Working with students as well as my own children and seeing them go through the learning and growing process brings me joy. I am extremely patient and strongly believe in setting an atmosphere in which students feel valued as well as confident in building upon their individual strengths to improve their weaknesses. I welcome exploring technology and using it to learn, teach and have fun. For fun, I also listen to a variety of music, play my flute, exercise and paint. I enjoy these hobbies both at home with my husband and our children as well as incorporating music, art, movement and technology at work I have also been a Girl Scouts Volunteer for the past 6 years with my daughter's troop, assisting with meetings, cookie sales, events and camping.
