I got my start in the tutoring arena as a teaching assistant, where I helped students going their engineering program. It was then I realized I had a desire to help others identify and achieve their educational goals and plans. I believe the best way to teach is to find out what students understand and where they are deficient, and develop a plan from there. Above all, allowing students to feel comfortable and ask questions is important for any tutor and student relationship. By using these plans, I'm confident students will make the most out of our sessions together. I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University. There I earned my bachelor's and master's degrees. I'm here to help students in various subjects such as Algebra 1-3/4, Calculus 1-3, Geometry, Elementary to Middle School Math, Trigonometry, Physics, Multivariable Calculus, Arithmetic, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Finite Mathematics, Languages, College Algebra, Pre-Algebra, and Spanish 1-4, including Spanish at a conversational level. I offer support for homework and summer tutoring, too. When I'm not busy helping students improve their skills, I love to relax and watch the newest movies and shows on Netflix, or try out my cooking skills. I also love playing soccer and of course, anything to do with engineering.
